Table rows come through as lines of text, with the cells separated by vertical bars.
Clean A4 pages
Text is laid out on A4 pages with even margins and flows onto new pages as needed.

The result is a standard PDF that opens on any phone, tablet or computer.

Good to know
- This is a text-focused conversion. Images, custom fonts, colours, headers and footers, and bold or italic inside a sentence aren't carried over — the PDF uses one standard sans-serif font.
- Tables appear as rows of text, not as ruled grids.
- It works with .docx files. Older .doc files need to be re-saved as .docx in Word first.
- If you need an exact copy of your Word layout, use Word's own Save as PDF or Export option.
- Files up to 25 MB are supported.
Word to PDF FAQ
- How do I convert Word to PDF without uploading it?
- Open this page, drop in your .docx and click Convert to PDF. The conversion runs in your browser, so the file stays on your device.
- Will my formatting and fonts be kept?
- Headings, paragraphs, lists and table content are kept, but fonts, colours, images, headers and footers aren't. The PDF uses a standard sans-serif font. For an exact copy, use Save as PDF in Word itself.
- Does it support .doc files?
- It works with .docx. If you have an older .doc file, open it in Word and save it as .docx first.
- Are images included in the PDF?
- Not at the moment. The conversion carries over text, headings, lists and tables.
- Can I combine or shrink the PDF afterwards?
- Yes. Use Merge PDFs to join it with other documents, or Compress File to reduce its size.
- Do I need an account?
- You don't need an account. Preview the result free, then a download costs Ksh 10, or Ksh 5 with an account.
